About Me: I am a music specialist with over 20 years of experience teaching choir, band, and classroom music from kindergarten to university levels. I have a bachelor degree in liturgical music, a master degree in music education and a doctoral degree in music pedagogy. I was born and raised in Slovakia, Europe surrounded by music all my life. My husband and I moved to Canada in 2004, after finishing our university. We have two sons 5&13. We love to travel and explore new countries, cultures, art, history, and nature. I am passionate about music education, choral and liturgical music. I strongly believe in the importance of music education through singing, playing instruments, listening, movement, and liturgical music… As Pope Benedict XVI said: “Music has no borders, no race or color, no limits of country, no ethnicity. Music makes the people come together. Dance it, Dance all. I am convinced that music really is the universal language of beauty which can bring together all people of good will on earth.”
