- Walk-a-thon money, pledge sheets and envelopes must be handed in to the school office, we would like to collect all money by Monday, Oct. 28th so we can get our grand total and hand out prizes. Please note that even if no money was raised, we still need the envelope and pledge sheet back. Thank you again to all of our families for their hard work with Walk-a-thon!
- School Photo RETAKES – if your child was absent, or if you are new to the school let the teacher know that your child needs a photo taken. If you desire a retake for any other reason then you must return your package to the photographer on Monday (with instructions on what you would like done differently for the little ones) and a new photo will be taken.
- Save-On-Food Gift Cards are available for purchase in the school office, these are made available through the Till-Tape Program and the generosity of the Save-On-Food stores.
- Paint Night – Friday, Nov. 22nd order forms were sent home this week, if you did not receive your copy more order forms are available in the school office.
- Celtic Day – October 31st is a Halloween Colours day and we will be raising food items for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. They will use these items to assemble approximately 35 Christmas hampers. You can start bringing them to school whenever you like – we have boxes at the school ready for donations. Thank you for your generosity! Items they are looking for:
- Protein canned tuna, canned salmon, canned chicken, canned chili, canned beans, peanut butter
- Other: coffee, tea, juices (lunch box and 1 L), cereal, oatmeal, granola, pancake mix, pancake syrup, pasta, rice, canned soups, canned fruit, canned vegetables, crackers, granola bars, jam, cookies, small bags of sugar, flour, small ketchup, small mustard, margarine, chocolates
- **If some families would prefer to donate cash, we would use it towards buying a turkey or ham, plus milk, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables
