Dear Families,

May Spring Break bring you time to slow down, relax and refocus.

When we get back it will be a very busy few months until June!

Prayer for The Third Week of Lent

Forgive us, dear Jesus, for times we have not looked to you as our Lord and for allowing the clamoring distractions of the world to become higher priorities than you.

Forgive us for yielding more to the temptations of this world than being transformed by your mercy and peace.
May the Holy Spirit empower us to accept the grace that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, offers to us today.

Hear the words of our Lord, “Your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more.”
Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts since, as members of one body, we were called to peace. And let us be thankful.

Pancake Breakfast- March 12

You are invited to join Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 12.

Holy Thursday – April 6th

Our Gr. 7 Class will be doing a Passion play. Each class will be invited to follow the student, cast as Jesus, through the play from Agony in the Garden to Crucifixion. The teachers will talk to their class about how the students are “just acting”, but we will be showing Jesus receiving the crown of thorns and other stations of the cross. All scenes will be done with the utmost reverence.

Parents are invited to come and walk the Passion play at 11:15. It will done outdoors.

Basketball Congratulations

A huge congratulations to our Gr 7 teams who represented our school at the CISVA Finals!

Our boys received silver and our girls took home the bronze! Way to go Celtics!

Thank you to the coaches Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Geary and Mr. Smith.

Tax Reciepts

Just a reminder to please pick up your tax receipts from the office. The office will be closed during Spring Break. If you would like your envelope sent home with your child, please contact the office.

Purdy’s Orders

We also have Purdy’s still running for Easter, online with partial proceeds going to the Gr. 7 farewell! The deadline for orders has been extended to SUNDAY, MARCH 26th but please get those orders in ASAP before it’s forgotten!

Pick up will be Wednesday, April 5th after school in the breezeway.

Permissions slips must be handed in prior to attending. These are NOT open to all grades:
