One Family, One Hope in Christ
He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it.”
Mark:34-35

Dear Families,
It has been such a JOY to have the students back at school. It is too quiet when Mrs. Rieu and I are working in the office and the building is empty. While the students are keeping us hopping, we are glad for their smiles, laughter and greetings. Thank you for entrusting your children to our care and for doing your part in keeping our students and community healthy and safe.
Thank you to Father Matthew and the parish for our first school mass today! It was wonderful to see the children all together at Mass. The choir sounded amazing and I was teary just being able to participate in person. God is good!
I want to thank the staff for all their preparation for the new school year. The classrooms look amazing! We do have some painting projects still to complete this fall, which was part of our Fitness-a-thon fundraiser last year.
Just a reminder that school staff will be at the St. Patrick’s Festival tomorrow starting at 6:00pm! Look for us near the cotton candy booth! If you would like to meet with your child’s teacher regarding something specific about your child, please email them directly to book an appointment.
The school calendar has been updated on the website and is also included at the bottom of this newsletter. Please note that we are closed on Sept. 30 for Truth and Reconciliation Day.
If there are any medical forms or medication to be sent to school, please send it to the office. If you have to update any personal information please do so ASAP.
Again, I thank you for choosing St. Patrick’s School for your family and we look forward to working with you this year.
Yours In Christ,
Mrs. Maria Fonseca
