This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent. This is my favourite time of the year!
Let us pray:
Come, Lord Jesus! Come! May this Advent be a time of deep renewal in my life, dear Lord. May it be a time in which I strive with all my heart to seek out Your gentle and profound voice. Give me the grace, dear Lord, to turn away from the many noises of the world that compete for my attention and to turn only to You and to all You wish to say. Come, Lord Jesus, come into my life more deeply during this Advent season. Jesus, I trust in You.

West Coast Recesses
With a lot of rain predicted next week, please ensure your child is ready to be outdoors for recess. We do try to be outside as much as possible. Every child should come with a jacket. Boots, mittens, and hats are highly encouraged. Umbrellas are often broken and misused before school starts, so this might not be a good idea to bring, especially with the younger students.
Popcorn Day- Dec. 6
Our first popcorn day is on Dec. 6. If your child would like to purchase a bag during the first recess, please send $1. All proceeds will go towards charity. In the new year, popcorn days will be on the same day as Hot Lunch.

Library News
Friday, December 1st will be the last day to select books from the school library.
All borrowed books are to be returned by Friday, December 8th at the latest.
Any late books not returned by Dec. 8th will receive a $10.00 lost book notice.
Please be sure to bring back your books to avoid a fine!

Christmas Lunch Order Form Due- Dec. 8
The Annual Christmas Lunch is a wonderful event that our Hot Lunch Team and volunteer hosts for students and staff. It allows us to sit together as a school community to enjoy a turkey or ham lunch. The students are asked to come in their Sunday best to enjoy our “fancy” lunch.
If your child does not partake due to the food choices, please send a lunch with them, and they can eat it with the rest of the school in the gym. If your child is not partaking due to financial reasons, please email Mrs. Fonseca directly.
The forms are now live and will close on Friday, December 8th at 10:00 pm. If you are able to make a donation towards the food or to purchase lunch for another child, please check the appropriate boxes on the forms.

Christmas Concert- Dec. 12
Save the date! Our Christmas Concert is on Dec. 12 with a 1:00 pm matinee and 6:30 pm evening show. Entry is by donation. Part of the proceeds will go towards our donation to the Order of St. Clare.
A small concession will be made available with popcorn, donuts and drinks. Cash only.

- Grade 6, 7 – Wednesday, December 6 – lunch recess practice @ 12:00 pm
- Grade 6, 7 – School Mass Friday, December 8 – morning practice @ 8:00 am
- Grade 4, 5 – Wednesday, December 13, 20 – lunch recess practice @ 12:00 pm
- Grade 4, 5 – School Mass Friday, December 22 – morning practice @ 8:00 am
Intermediate choir Practices
- Every Wednesday at 8:00 am
- Every Friday at 8:00 am except on the School Mass days
- NO Intermediate Choir practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13, Friday, Dec. 15, Wednesday, Dec. 20.
- Choir practices will resume on Wednesday, January 10, 8:00 am.
