About Me:
Although I am new to Maple Ridge and the community at St. Patrick’s this is my fourth year teaching grade two and I absolutely love working with this age group. I especially enjoy preparing the children to encounter Jesus in the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation and I strive to help them build a lifelong relationship with Jesus in the Sacraments. I have a B.A. in Christianity and Culture (Trinity Western University), an M.A. in Theology (University of St. Michael’s College), a B.Ed. (Vancouver Island University) and an M.A. in Catholic Educational Leadership (St. Mark’s College). I am actively involved in the parish at St. Patrick’s leading Alpha and faith studies small groups as well as teaching in the Parish Religious Education Program. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the beauty of God’s creation while out hiking, snowshoeing, biking and trail running. When I am not outside I like to pass my time at home knitting, baking, and reading.
